The children of Hyderabad region are assisted in their academic needs such as bags and books. The local government school teachers participated in the event. A total of 633 children hailing from 15 villages were supported.
In Kothakota Cluster Project Area awareness on drip bottle method for irrigation to agro forestry has been initiated and till date 1,290 disposed bottles were distributed. 67 farmer installed the bottles.
On 5th March our Well wisher Mr.Anil Kumar Agarwal, FCA visited Ashapuri OAH & GLLC along with his Daughter Ms.Anupriti Agarwal. During his visit he donated 17 pair male garments (Lungi,Towel & Ganji) and 13 pair female garments (Saree ,Blouse and Saya) to our inmates. Also he interacted with staffs for an hour and wishing a success of the centre.
International women’s day celebration at mall and Godakondla Villages under WEP Kurmedu of Hyderabad Region. 90 women participated from 2 villages and local ICDS staff and village Revenue people of Mall Gramapanchayath were resource persons
Gonasika Cluster observed International Women’s Day on 8th March at Bayakumutia GLLC Campus. In the meeting Bayakumutia GP SHG’s members, GLLC Trainees with volunteers, Supervised Study Centre Teachers & Cluster volunteers were present. The Resource persons were the Banspal Block Government officials.
Three villages in Kothakota Cluster Project Area viz., Buttla Jallampalli, Pedapittagedda, Kamakotam were inaugurated on 25th and 26th of February 2016. Dr. Robert Wychera, donor partner from E Klub, Austria was the chief guest. Operational Director, Mr. Peter Daniel and Associate Director Mr. Velangani Raju also participated the event and thanked the donor for his continuous support. The villagers were happy to enter into thier new houses
Children of Kurumedu village celebrated Children’s Festival on 26th of Feb 2016. Mr. D. Murali, MEO, Chintapalli; Mr. Sathyaranarayana, Dy.EO, Devarakona; Mr. Venu Goplakrishna, GM, Ultra Power Project, Thakillapalli were the Chief Guests. We also thank our Governing Board members Dr. N. J. Karunakara Rao, Ms. Raft Razia for their active participation. 248 children participated in the event.
